New Day Angoras is now Nuedai Hobby Farm

We have long since operated under the name “Nuedai” (pronounced New Day). Upon our arrival on the rabbit scene, we registered the name New Day Angoras with the ARBA, and we are still registered by that name with the ARBA! We began expanding our micro urban hobby farm (yes, all of those things) in September 2022, and decided with the addition of more breeds of rabbits and other species to revert back to the name Nuedai. We will not be changing the name of the rabbitry, and this name will encompass the cavies, as well.

This website is not here to sell animals. This website is here to promote the hobbies of keeping rabbits, poultry, cavies, and self-sustainable gardening on a small scale. We use this space to provide information on these hobbies. I try to gear my topics towards questions that I see asked over and over again! The information provided here will always be free to the viewer!

While I do not have animals available for sale, I do offer links to other websites where people can locate breeders. We are still adding in poultry and cavy breeders.

Lastly, this website is not free to maintain! It has associated fees due monthly and yearly. I do my best to keep the website completely ad free, but this means limiting resources to pay those fees each month. So you will find the following revenue streams on this website:

Affiliate Links – I do occasionally write articles reviewing products. I will always inform the reader if I have personally used a product I am recommending. Rarely, do I post a link a to a product that I have not tested myself, and if I do, I will inform the reader.

Themed Products For Sale – My degree is in Graphic and Print Design. So I have created a few fun designs for t-shirts and other products that I offer for sale online. I do have a link to my store on this website.

I try to update this page as time allows, but most of our time goes into caring for our animals.

Cuniculture

Cuniculture is the agricultural practice of breeding and raising domestic rabbits, usually for a purpose. Our cuniculture section has articles on general care, grooming, breeding, and genetics tailored to Angora rabbits. Our goal with this section is to help new pet owners and breeders who may be struggling with their new angoras. Here are some of our most recent posts in that section:

Our Rabbits

Nola, Chocolate Agouti French Angora

We are an ARBA registered rabbitry in Mississippi raising English Angora and French Angora rabbits.

We breed for our own programs, first and foremost. This is a family effort, and we raise our rabbits for fiber currently. We are making selections in our stock to breed towards correct body structure and low maintenance, correct coats. We like to post our litters and pictures, but we do not always have kits available from every litter.

We no longer sell rabbits. We only keep Angoras for personal fiber usage.

Fiber & Crafts

We sometimes have raw angora available and our delving into spinning on our yarn. We are adding a new section to our website that discusses our projects and provides information about fiber prep and spinning. These articles will most discuss reviews of products. Our fiber journey has really just started, so our blogs about spinning will be from the view of trial and error.

Online Store

We also now have an online store where you can purchase cute t-shirts, mugs, bags, and more with the Angora hobbyist and owner in mind! Visit our store by clicking the link above or check out a featured product we have available right now:
